Pulled Pork Stuffed Waffle
- Classic Waffle Batter (see recipe below)*
Filling per waffle
- 1/2 cup pulled pork, warmed
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce, plus additional for serving
Prepare waffle batter as directed. Preheat Stuffler™ stuffed waffle maker with waffle tongs in unit for 10 minutes.
Spread about 1/3 cup batter into waffle maker so bottom grids and waffle dividers are thinly but completely covered. Place pulled pork onto batter leaving a thin margin around edge. Top pork with barbecue sauce. Spread additional batter over filling until it reaches the top of the square projections on the waffle tongs. Close waffle maker and flip. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Remove stuffed waffle to plate.
Variation: Pulled Chicken can be substituted for Pulled Pork.
*Waffle, pancake, or all-purpose baking mixes can be substituted for Classic Waffle Batter recipe. Prepare as directed on package. Yield may vary depending on mix used.
