• 1 cup matzo meal or crumbled matzo
  • 1 cup milk, heated
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Add matzo to a large bowl. Stir in heated milk and soak briefly, then stir until mixture almost forms a ball. Add egg yolks and oil, stirring until combined.

Beat egg whites in medium bowl until foamy. Add sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into matzo mixture until combined. Do not overmix. Some white lumps should be visible in batter.
