Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Waffle
- Savory Waffle Batter (see recipe below)*
Filling per waffle
- 6 to 8 pieces cooked popcorn chicken
- 1 tablespoon Buffalo wing sauce
- 1 tablespoon crumbled blue cheese
Prepare waffle batter as directed. Preheat Stuffler® stuffed waffle maker with waffle tongs in unit for 10 minutes
Spread about 1/3 cup batter into waffle maker so bottom grids and waffle divider are thinly but completely covered. Scatter cooked chicken onto batter leaving a thin margin around edge. Add sauce over chicken and top with blue cheese. Spread additional batter over filling until it reaches the top of the square projections on the waffle tongs. Close waffle maker and flip. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Remove stuffed waffle to plate.
*Waffle, pancake, or all-purpose baking mixes can be substituted for Savory Waffle Batter. Prepare as directed on package. Add 1/4 cup sliced green onion to batter. Yield may vary depending on mix used.
