Asian Dumplings with Eggs
- 1 3/4 cup water, divided
- 2 eggs
- 5 to 8 frozen pre-steamed Asian dumplings
- Red pepper strips, as desired
- Frozen shelled edamame, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, optional
- White sesame seeds, optional
- Dipping sauce for serving
Add 1/4 cup water to small compartment. Set egg holder in small compartment. Place eggs in egg holder. Add 1 1/2 cups water to large compartment. Place cover on unit. Plug in Power Bento™ electric cooker. Cook 5 minutes. When time is up, remove cover and add dumplings, pepper strips, and edamame to large compartment. Place cover on unit. Cook 5 minutes.
Unplug Power Bento. Remove egg holder and allow eggs to cool naturally 5 minutes for medium cooked or 2 minutes for soft cooked. Then immediately run cold water over eggs and peel. Meanwhile, with cover in place, grasp the side and base handles of unit and carefully drain water from dumplings. Add cilantro and sesame seeds to dumplings, if desired. Serve with dipping sauce. Cut and serve eggs with dumplings.
