Triple Berry Stuffed Waffle
- Maple Pecan Waffle Batter (see recipe below)*
Filling per waffle
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen, drained, mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
Prepare waffle batter as directed. Preheat Stuffler™ stuffed waffle maker with waffle tongs in unit for 10 minutes.
Spread about 1/3 cup batter into waffle maker so bottom grids and waffle divider are thinly but completely covered. Sprinkle mixed berries onto batter leaving a thin margin around edge. Spread additional batter over fruit until it reaches the top of the square projections on the waffle tongs. Close waffle maker and flip. Cook for 6 1/2 minutes. Remove stuffed waffle to plate.
*Classic Waffle Batter recipe can be substituted for Maple Pecan Waffle Batter recipe, if desired. Or, substitute with prepared waffle or pancake baking mixes. Prepare as directed on package. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Yield may vary depending on mix used.
