Corn Dog Waffle Batter
About 4 stuffed waffles
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix eggs and honey until blended, then add buttermilk and oil. Stir until smooth. Gently fold buttermilk mixture into dry ingredients.
