Easy frozen puff pastry and your favorite firm fruit combine to make an exquisite, and impressive dessert. Indulge and serve it warm with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, or whipped cream.
Place Shredding Cone in SaladShooter® electric slicer/shredder.
Pour almonds in food chamber and shred. Return almonds to food chamber and
shred again. Combine 3 tablespoons sugar and flour with almonds; set aside.

in food chamber and slice. Repeat until all pears are sliced (about 4 cups).
Sprinkle with lemon juice
and set aside. Unfold defrosted puff pastry sheet on a floured board; roll
to form a 14- x 11-inch rectangle. Cut 1-inch strips from each side. Place
rectangle on a parchment lined baking sheet; prick with a fork. Arrange 1 pastry
strip on each side of rectangle, meeting at corners. Sprinkle almond/sugar
pricked surface. Arrange sliced pears on top of almond/sugar mixture. Beat
egg yolk and cream together. Brush mixture over pastry edges and pears. Sprinkle
with remaining 1 tablespoon sugar. Dot with margarine or butter. Bake in 375° F. oven
for 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, or whipped cream.
